With the Sacred Valley Adventure Tour or “ATV in Maras & Moray + Zipline”, you can feel the thrill of riding on four wheels and overcome any road having fun in the mountains of Cusco. We will travel through the colorful fields and routes of the Sacred Valley, the salt mines of Maras, the archaeological site of Moray and Racchi. An opportunity that you can not miss, the adrenaline will fill you and free you from the routine. The spectacular landscapes of the Andes and the climate of the Sacred Valley will turn this tour into a magical and fun ride.

Salt mines of Maras: it is important for the extraction of salt. Since the time of the Incas it was very important for the mineral, indispensable for human consumption and in colonial times it continued in the same way.

Moray Archaeological Center: It was a center of crop experimentation used by the Incas for the acclimatization of products brought from other areas. Here you can see four concentric circular stone constructions forming a kind of rings that widen as they ascend. Their constructions are supported by strong stone walls; around the main construction one can observe platforms that form a kind of ironwork. There are those who believe that these constructions may have served as terraces or amphitheaters for civic-religious ceremonies and not only for agricultural use.

The town of Moray is one of the most visited destinations when one comes to Cusco, also Moray is part of the sacred valley where Ollantaytambo is located, Ollantaytambo is an Inca town and is where the train station that takes us to Machu Picchu is located, everyone who comes to Cusco and the Sacred Valley does it with the purpose of making the tour to Machu Picchu.

• 06.20 – 06.50 am We will pick you up at your hotel.
• 07.00 am We will start the ATV tour and we will go in a minivan 35 km to the village of Racchi 5 min. from our base in Cruzpata, Chinchero (50 min.) we will enjoy the plateau of Chinchero, Pj’acchayoc canyon, the sacred valley of the Incas, snowy Chicon and Pitusiray as well as the living culture of the community of Racchi.
• The Zipline has 4 different cables, the longest with a length of 600 meters and the deepest with 2000 meters: The first cable is very soft to get into confidence and get familiar with the activity. The second cable is the fastest to be able to imagine the maximum sensation of flying.
• The third cable is the longest where the participant has time to make extreme movements or positions, the fourth cable is the deepest with the best views of the canyon, sacred valley and mountains. After 1h 30 min. finishing the Zipline we will go to Cruzpata our base.
• Here we will do a 15 minutes guided practice, then we will give you the equipment and the semi-automatic ATVs. We will also sign a commitment not to drive recklessly, to take care of the equipment and our lives.
• Once we are ready after the practice, we will start the tour towards the salt mines of MARAS, this town is important for the extraction of salt, since the time of the Incas was very important for the mineral, essential for human consumption and in the time of the Colony continued in the same way. We will advance up to a certain part in the ATVs and the rest we will do it in our transport, because there is an abyss and it is dangerous.
• In this tour we will be able to enjoy during the tour of impressive landscape views of the area and the snowy Veronica and Chicon, we will also travel towards the terraces of MORAY, a center of crop experimentation used by the Incas for the acclimatization of products brought from other areas. • Once finished the 7 h. 30 min. tour, we will return to the base to board the minivan that will transfer us to the city of Cusco, we will arrive at 03.30 pm and we will leave you near the main square.
