  • Arrive at the entrance in advance.

  • Students must present a valid student ID card.

MACHU PICCHU PHOTOS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Circuit 2 or Classic Machu Picchu is the most recommended option for those who wish to see the main interior sectors of the citadel.

You can choose between Route 2-A: Designed Route and Route 2-B: Lower Terrace. Due to high demand, booking this circuit well in advance is advised.

To climb Huayna Picchu mountain, you must buy the ticket corresponding to Circuit 3, Route 3-A: Wayna Picchu Mountain.

This ticket has limited capacity and a specific time slot. The hike includes steep slopes, narrow stairs, and sectors that require good physical condition.

During 2026, promotional rates are available for Peruvian citizens, foreign residents in Peru, and citizens of Andean Community member countries.

  • Regular routes: S/64 for adults and S/32 for students and minors.
  • Machu Picchu Mountain, Wayna Picchu, and Great Cavern: S/112 for adults and S/80 for students and minors.
