CHUCUITO, is a small town in the province of Puno, located about 18 km from the city of Puno on the edge of the road Desaguadero and La Paz (Bolivia). It is situated at 4,477 meters above sea level. Among its tourist attractions in Chucuito are: Inca Uyo, a rectangular construction with stone walls. At the time of the arrival of the Spaniards it was partially buried, under construction, the earth filling allowed the access to the top of the wall of the stones that were being carved, a few meters from the construction there is an important group of stones in its carving phase. Recently, mushroom-shaped monoliths, which some interpret as phalluses, have been taken to the interior of the construction. In reality it is a ceremonial temple dating from pre-Hispanic times.

ARAMU MURO, is a historical-mythological site located near the town of Juli, not far from Lake Titicaca. The portal of Aramu Muru has the shape of a square of 7 meters on each side carved into the rock. So far, no serious archaeological study has been carried out that could reveal the date when the first settlers began to consider this place sacred. According to the legend, the priest Aramu Muru would have gone deep into the Earth passing through the Portal in order to hide the great golden disk of Koricancha. Today the portal is visited by believers who follow the theory of the Great White Brotherhood.
