From here we will go to Qoricancha, one of the most important and representative places of the Inca Culture, then by bus we will go up to visit the archaeological centers of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.

The Humantay Lake is located at 4,180 masl and is at a distance of 123 km from Cusco. This tour is an option for people who like hiking and nature, on the route we will appreciate beautiful landscapes, crops of different products such as corn, avocado, pumpkin and others that are produced in this valley of Limatambo.

THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS, is composed of numerous rivers that descend through ravines and small valleys, has numerous archaeological monuments and indigenous peoples.  It is scattered with beautiful colonial towns that were created, and that today show their mestizaje in architecture, art and living culture. There are the towns of Chinchero and its weavers, Pisac and its craft fair, Urubamba and its cosmopolitanism, Ollantaytambo with its fortress and its living Inca people.

It is considered, at the same time, a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. Its peculiar architectural and landscape characteristics and the veil of mystery that has woven around it a good part of the literature published about the site, have made it one of the most popular tourist destinations on the planet, as well as one of the 7th wonders of the modern world.

MONTAÑA ARCOÍRIS O MONTAÑA DE COLORES, the locals call it Cerro Colorado or Vinincunca, is a mountain in Peru with an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level. It is located on the road to the snowy Ausangate in the Cordillera del Vilcanota, in the district of Pitumarca.

Its slopes and summits are tinged with intense shades of fuchsia, turquoise, lavender and gold; the visual spectacle offered by Vinincunca attracts visitors since early 2016, these sediments transported by the water that once covered the area, over time were forming layers and the movement of tectonic plates in the area raised these sediments until they became mountains.  Then they acquired their striking colors due to the oxidation of its minerals, exerted by the humidity of the area and the erosion of the same that today are seen as the stripes that attract tourists so much.

It’s recommended to take precautions such as resting upon arrival, staying hydrated, and avoiding excessive physical exertion at the beginning of your stay in the city.

It is advisable to acclimatize before embarking on the Historic Cusco Tour due to the high altitude of Cusco, which can lead to altitude sickness. Some tips for acclimatization include arriving in advance, drinking water, avoiding alcohol and caffeine, resting, eating lightly, and consulting a doctor if necessary. Machu Picchu is located in the Eastern Cordillera of southern Peru, in the Andes mountain range, at an altitude of 2,430 meters above sea level. It is situated in the Cusco region, Urubamba province, Machupicchu district.

The main attraction is Rainbow Mountain itself, with its vibrant color stripes, a unique natural spectacle on Mother Earth. You’ll also see apachetas and appreciate the beauty of nature in its wildest state.

The colors of Rainbow Mountain are due to the presence of various minerals in its geological layers, as well as erosion, oxidation, and stratification of these minerals over time. Exposure to environmental factors such as oxygen and humidity has also contributed to the intensity of these colors. In summary, the color palette of Rainbow Mountain is the result of geological and environmental processes that have interacted for millions of years to create this extraordinary landscape.
