Description Complete Tour Sacred Valley and Machupicchu

With the Sacred Cusco tour, you will know the wonderful Sacred Valley of the Incas and the beautiful citadel of Machupicchu, it will be 4 days to visit the historic center of Cusco, its squares, craft centers and most important archaeological centers of the Inca empire. A tour that will take you through the millenary Cusco, Andean landscapes, high mountains and rivers.

Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour: This tour will allow us to appreciate a beautiful valley which is composed of numerous rivers that descend through ravines and small valleys; it has numerous archaeological monuments and indigenous villages.  It is scattered with beautiful colonial towns that were created, and that today show their mestizaje in architecture, art and living culture. There are the towns of Chinchero and its weavers, Pisac and its craft fair, Urubamba and its cosmopolitanism, Ollantaytambo with its fortress and its living Inca people.

This valley was highly appreciated by the Incas due to its special geographical and climatic qualities. It was one of the main production points due to the richness of its lands and the place where the best corn grain in Peru is produced.

Machupicchu Tour: In this tour we will appreciate an ancient Andean Inca settlement, located in the Eastern Cordillera of southern Peru, in the Andes mountain range at 2,430 meters above sea level; it is located in the Cusco region, province of Urubamba, district of Machupicchu. At the time of the Incas Machu Picchu would have been one of the resting places of Pachacutec, ninth Inca of the Tahuantinsuyo between 1438 and 1470.

It is considered, at the same time, a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. Its peculiar architectural and landscape characteristics and the veil of mystery that has woven around it a good part of the literature published about the site, have made it one of the most popular tourist destinations on the planet, as well as one of the 7th wonders of the modern world.

The trip to Machu Picchu is made by train, the train station is in Ollantaytambo and the trip lasts 1:45 Approx. where we arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town, on the way we can appreciate a natural spectacle.
