The trip of a lifetime! My best friend and I chose this tour to celebrate our 30th Birthdays - it was Amazing!!! We had a really nice time visiting Cusco, Machu Picchu and going to the Rainbow Mountain. The tour guides were really nice and we told us a lot about everything. We visited in November and for Machu Picchu this was amazing - it was misty in the morning and sunny by mid-morning, so we got to see it with all weather types. Highly recommend going at 6am and spending most of the day there - circuit 2 and 4 were great! We even hiked up one of the mountains. Carlos, Judy, and Wilson were great and really educated us about each site.

Great way to experience Peru The tour was a great way to experience Cusco, the sacred valley, Machu Picchu and the Vinicunca mountain. We only had 4 full days, and it was the right amount of time. I was there with my best friend celebrating our 30th, so we will always cherish this moment. The tour guides (Carlos, Judy, and Wilson) were very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us get immersed to the history of the Incas, and made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. The accommodation provided as part of the package was very adequate, and the overall experience was great.

Encantos en Cusco Estamos muy contentos con los servicios que hemos recibido. Desde el recojo en el aeropuerto, fueron puntuales con un cartel con nuestro nombre. La habitacion que pedimos fue hermosa en el hotel Mayu con vista a la calle 7 borreguitos, Royer nos atendio muy bien 10/10. La agencia se comunicaba con nosotros todos los dias, para saber como nos hiba en el tour o si es que necesitamos ayuda. Realmente muy serviciales. En aguas Calientes Daniel, estuvo atento con nosostros . El tour en Machu Picchu fue realmente magico. Description Arequipa and Colca Canyon Tour

With Arequipa Tour and Colca Canyon or “Arequipa Agile”, you will be able to know the White City in an agile way the historical center, the movement of its people, historical places and the greenness of its fields with a touch of relaxation and admiration to see the biggest bird of the world in the Colca Canyon. This tour is ideal for those who do not have much time and want to visit as much as possible on their vacation.

We will visit the Plaza de Armas and its bronze basin with a copper sculpture of a little elf with a trumpet, the Mirador de Carmen Alto Plaza and Mirador de Yanahuara, an attractive site in Arequipa that is a set of beautiful ashlar arches built during the nineteenth century, a panoramic view of its three volcanoes Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu, the zoo, Zoo Mundo which houses 340 animals of 88 species that were recovered from traders or abandoned, the Balneario de Tingo, the Via Paisajista and the Founder’s Mansion, then we will go to the Sabandia Mill.

The Colca Valley with its wonderful landscapes and the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, we will be able to delight ourselves with the flight of the Condor, this majestic bird in danger of extinction that inhabits the canyon. Its varied fauna will also allow the traveler to enjoy the presence of animals such as alpaca, vicuña, viscachas, foxes, pumas, eagles, hawks and owls.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arequipa – Historical Center – Yanahuara Viewpoint – World Zoo – Founder’s Mansion – Sabandia Mill – Arequipa

  • We have 3 schedules so you can know the monumental case and surroundings of this beautiful city: 09.00 am, 11.00 am and 2.00 pm.
  • We will pick you up 15 minutes before the start of the tour, at the HOTEL located in the circuit of the Plaza de Armas.
  • This tour is done in a panoramic bus and lasts 4 hours; all the tour is inside and outside Arequipa city tour, we will start at the Plaza de Armas and the places to visit are: colonial buildings, museums and main streets of the city.
  • In this Arequipa tour we will visit: Plaza de Armas of Arequipa and its bronze basin with a sculpture made of copper of a little elf with a trumpet, it is said that once had wings, but over the years it was lost, this sculpture is known as Tuturutu. There is a myth about the Tuturutu that says that it represents a soldier of the XVI century. Another legend says that “El Tuturutu” was a character of short stature who enjoyed the confidence of the Inca Mayta Capac for being his official messenger to the ayllus and soldiers, “The name Tuturutu was taken from the sound of the instrument used by this character to announce to the Inca about the arrival of a chasqui or an encomienda”. The Tuturutu of so much day and night, one morning he woke up dead and petrified by a wave of cold and since then he became the permanent watchman of the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa.
  • We will also go to the Mirador de Carmen Alto Plaza and Mirador de Yanahuara, is a city tour Arequipa which is a set of beautiful ashlar arches built during the nineteenth century, by the location in which it is located, is a must-see place, because it allows to admire the beautiful white city of Arequipa, having a panoramic view of its three volcanoes (Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu). We can also observe engraved writings of illustrious people of the city of Arequipa.
  • We will make another stop at the OUTLET INCALPACA and the zoo, Zoo Mundo de Arequipa houses 340 animals of 88 species that were recovered from traders or abandoned. It has 3 hectares of extension, we can find the spectacled bear, a protected species for being in the process of extinction; lions recovered from a circus a year ago; Peruvian otorongos and monkeys of various species. An area that attracts attention is the one that houses the penguins and the exotic fish aquarium where you can see piranhas, motor rays, discus fish, electric eels, needlefish, among others.
  • We will pass by the Tingo Spa, the Via Paisajista and the Founder’s Mansion, then we will go to the Sabandia Mill.

Day 2: Arequipa – Chivay – Baños La Calera – Arequipa

  • 02.30 hrs We will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Arequipa.
  • We will take a direct trip to the town of Chivay, where we will arrive at approximately 6.00 am.
  • Continental breakfast, we will make a stop on the way to regain strength.
  • We continue to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor where we will stay approximately 1 hour to appreciate the flight of the condor and part of the depth of the canyon.
  • We will make stops at different viewpoints (Antahuilque, tombs and models of Choquetico.
  • Arrival to Chivay, we go to the thermal baths.
  • Time for lunch (NOT INCLUDED).
  • Return to Arequipa, on the way we will make a stop at the Mirador de los Andes, a place from where you can see the mountains, Cordilleras and snow-capped mountains, as well as appreciate other types of animals such as vizcachas, migratory birds and vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas we can appreciate the National Reserve of Vicuñas.
  • 18.00 hrs We will arrive to Arequipa approximately and we will leave you at your hotel.
