The Sacred Valley ATV Tour is the ultimate adventure for travelers looking to combine adrenaline, stunning Andean landscapes, and ancient Inca history on four wheels. Ride through colorful agricultural fields, visit the concentric agricultural terraces of Moray, explore the ancient salt mines of Maras, and admire the serene waters of Piuray and Huaypo lagoons surrounded by snow-capped peaks of Semana Santa.
06:30 am – Hotel Pick-Up and Drive to Chinchero
Our team will pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco. We will board our comfortable minivan and travel for approximately 50 minutes through scenic Andean landscapes toward our ATV base in Cruzpata, Chinchero of Semana Santa.
07:30 am – Safety Briefing and ATV Practice Session
At our base in Cruzpata, our professional guide will provide a 15-minute practice session and safety briefing. We will equip you with helmets and gloves, gear up with Honda TRX 250 semi-automatic ATVs, and sign a safety agreement before starting the ride of Semana Santa.
08:30 am – ATV Ride to the Salt Mines of Maras
We will kick off our adventure riding toward the town of Maras and its famous salt mines, essential for mineral extraction since Inca times. To ensure safety, part of the approach to the canyon viewpoint is completed in our support vehicle before exploring the site of Semana Santa.
10:30 am – Exploration of Moray Terraces & Mountain Viewpoint
We will ride across mountain trails enjoying spectacular views of Mount Veronica and Chicon on our way to Moray. Here, we will explore four circular stone agricultural terraces used by the Incas to acclimatize crops, followed by a stop at the Viewpoint of the 5 Snow-Capped Peaks of Semana Santa.
12:30 pm – Piuray Lagoon & Huaypo Lagoon ATV Circuit
We will continue our quad ride toward Piuray Lagoon, an ancient water source for Cusco shrouded in Inca legends, and then head to Huaypo Lagoon, home to crystalline waters, seasonal bird species, and mountain reflections of Semana Santa.
02:00 pm – Box Lunch & Return to Base
After completing our 7-hour ATV circuit, we will enjoy a delicious box lunch (chicken empanada, carrot cake, seasonal fruit, energy bar, and snacks) before returning our equipment at the Cruzpata base of Semana Santa.
02:40 pm – Transfer Back to Cusco
We will board our tourist minivan and head back to the city of Cusco.
03:30 pm – Arrival in Cusco Main Square
We will arrive in Cusco and drop you off near the historic Main Square (Plaza de Armas), ending a memorable quad biking adventure in the Andes of Semana Santa.

No, entrance fees are paid directly at the sites. You will need the Cusco Tourist Ticket (Boleto Turístico) for Moray and an individual entrance ticket for the Maras Salt Mines (paid in local currency soles) of Semana Santa.
Yes, safety is our top priority. We provide full safety gear, conduct practice sessions, and travel with professional guides. Additionally, steep abyss sections near Maras are completed aboard our support minivan for maximum safety of Semana Santa.
