The Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the most fascinating destinations in Cusco. Surrounded by towering mountains and crossed by the Urubamba River, this valley is home to important archaeological centers, traditional towns, and some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Andes. During this tour, you will visit Pisaq, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero, discovering the history, culture, and legacy of the Inca civilization.
08:00 AM – Hotel pickup and start of the tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in the city of Cusco to begin our adventure toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the trip, we will enjoy breathtaking Andean landscapes as we head to our first destination of the day.
09:00 AM – Pisaq Archaeological Complex and Market
We will visit the impressive archaeological complex of Pisaq, famous for its agricultural terraces, temples, and panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. Afterward, we will tour the traditional artisan market where you will find textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and handicrafts made by local residents.
12:30 PM – Buffet lunch in Urubamba
We will continue to the city of Urubamba, considered the heart of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a wide variety of typical dishes from Peruvian and international cuisine.
02:00 PM – Visit to the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complex
After lunch, we will head to the majestic archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, considered one of the masterpieces of Inca engineering. We will tour its impressive terraces, temples, water channels, and huge, perfectly fitted stone blocks while our guide explains the historical, military, and religious importance of this ancient Inca town, which still retains its original urban layout.
04:00 PM – Chinchero and its textile tradition
We will continue to the picturesque town of Chinchero, known as the land of the rainbow. We will visit its archaeological center, the colonial church built over ancient Inca walls, and a textile interpretation center where we will learn about the traditional dyeing and weaving process using ancestral techniques still preserved by local families.
07:00 PM – Return to Cusco
We will finish this unforgettable tour by returning to the city of Cusco. During the drive, you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley one last time before arriving at the historic center, where our services will conclude near the Plaza de Armas.
