  • Descend: If symptoms are severe or do not improve with rest and hydration, consider descending to a lower altitude. Descending is the most effective way to treat altitude sickness.
  • Medications: In some cases, medications like acetazolamide can help prevent or relieve altitude sickness symptoms. Consult a doctor before taking any medication and follow their recommendations.
  • Acclimatization: If you plan to visit high-altitude regions, try to ascend gradually rather than abruptly. Schedule your travel itinerary so that you can give your body time to acclimate to the altitude.
