08:45 AM – Hotel pickup and transfer to the ranch
Our transport will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to transfer you to the ranch located in the surroundings of Sacsayhuamán, where this exciting horseback riding adventure will begin.
09:00 AM – Instructions and start of the ride
Before beginning the ride, the guide and the horsemen will provide a brief explanation on how to ride the horses, safety regulations, and recommendations to enjoy the experience with full confidence, even if it is your first time riding.
09:45 AM – Visit to the Temple of the Moon
Our first stop will be the mysterious Temple of the Moon, an ancient sanctuary located within the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park. The guide will explain the ceremonial importance of this place while we explore its rock formations, caves, and altars carved out of stone.
10:45 AM – Exploration of the Devil’s Balcony
We will continue the horseback ride along ancient Inca trails until we reach the famous Devil’s Balcony, an impressive rock formation suspended over the Chakán River. We will have time to explore the natural cave, learn about the history of this ancient ceremonial site, and enjoy the spectacular views of the Andean landscape.
11:45 AM – Rest and snacks
We will take a break to regain energy while enjoying an included snack, consisting of mineral water, seasonal fruit, cookies, and a chocolate bar. This will also be an excellent moment to take pictures and enjoy the peacefulness of the natural environment.
12:15 PM – Return to the ranch
After the break, we will begin our ride back on horseback along the trails of the archaeological park, enjoying the scenery once again and the experience of riding through the surroundings of Sacsayhuamán.
01:30 PM – Return to Cusco
Upon arrival at the ranch, we will board our tourist transport to return to the city of Cusco. We will conclude the tour by dropping you off at your hotel or near the Plaza de Armas.
