EL BALCON DEL DIABLO, is an archaeological site near Sacsayhuaman) called Balcon del Diablo, although the original name in Quechua is Chakan (bridge). This place is connected to the ancient Inca road that linked Cusco to Huchuy Qosqo. The so-called Devil’s Balcony is hanging on a huge vertical wall and is accessed through a chasm of easy access, at his feet circulates the river Chakán. Day 1: Pick up from Hotel – Ranch – Temple of the Moon – Devil’s Balcony

  • 08.45 hrs The tour starts picking you up at your hotel, immediately in our private transportation to the Ranch (Sacsayhuaman).
  • 09.00 hrs Here the guide will give us some basic instructions about the horses, how to control them, how to react and handle some situations, we will make contact with the muleteers and horses and then we will go to the TEMPLE OF THE MOON, located in the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman. They are very strange constructions, some caves, a type of altar and rock surfaces that are strongly vitrified.
  • We will also go through the Devil’s Balcony, in each of the above mentioned places we will make stops for our guide to explain in detail each of these places, in the Devil’s Balcony we will go through a natural cave formed thousands of years ago which was used by the Incas as a sacred place.
  • We will take the opportunity to take our snacks and return to the ranch to board the private transportation back to the city, ending our activity in an average of 04 hours.
  • 13.30 hrs Finally we will return to the city of Cusco, we will leave you at your hotel or at the Plaza de Armas.
