Day 1: Transfer from Cusco – to Machu Picchu

Pick up from Hotel – Ollantaytambo – Abra Malaga – Santa Teresa – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu. 

  • 07.00 hrs Pick up from your respective hotels or hostels.
  • 07.45 hrs Departure from Cusco in a minivan to the end of the paved road in Hidroeléctrica, travel time (6 h approx., we will make a brief stop for toilet facilities and lunch.
  • 14.00 hrs Arrival and lunch in the town of Hidroeléctrica.
  • 15.00 hrs We will begin the hike to the town of Aguas Calientes, walking time at normal pace 2 h 30 min. The route is flat and we will advance close to the rails of the train enjoying the beauty of the flora of the area and a temperature of 15 º.
  • 17.30 hrs Arrival to the town of Aguas Calientes, in the Plaza de Armas Hotel staff will be waiting for us to place us in the respective hotels.
  • 20.00 hrs Dinner with the whole group for indications and prior coordination for the tour to Machupicchu the next day.
