04:00 AM – Hotel pickup and transfer to Ollantaytambo
We will begin the experience with pickup from your hotel in Cusco to travel by tourist transportation toward the Ollantaytambo train station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
06:40 AM – Voyager train ride to Aguas Calientes
We will board the Voyager tourist train bound for the town of Aguas Calientes. During the trip, you will enjoy comfortable seats, large windows, and beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley until reaching the Machu Picchu area.
08:05 AM – Arrival in Aguas Calientes and bus to Machu Picchu
Upon arriving in the town of Aguas Calientes, we will head to the bus station to ascend toward the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The bus ride takes approximately 35 minutes.
09:00 AM – Guided tour of Machu Picchu
We will present our admission tickets and begin the guided tour through the Inca citadel. For approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, you will discover the primary archaeological sectors, temples, terraces, ceremonial enclosures, and viewpoints of Machu Picchu.
12:45 PM – Lunch and free time in Aguas Calientes
After the visit, we will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes. You will have time to enjoy your lunch, visit the artisan market, or explore the town on your own before the return train journey.
08:20 PM – Return train to Ollantaytambo
At the designated time, we will board the Voyager tourist train back to Ollantaytambo. During the high season, train schedules may vary based on availability.
10:10 PM – Arrival in Cusco
Upon arriving at the Ollantaytambo train station, our transfer representative will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco, concluding the tour at your hotel or coordinated drop-off point.
